Interested in real estate investing, but don't want to be a landlord?  You can become a silent investor in a DealMaker's project.  DealMakers are investors / developers who post deals on MeetMOJO.  They post these deals because they are looking for private money investors. Some DealMakers look for a one-on-one private deal, and some are looking for a syndicate. Private money investors are typically silent investors, i.e. they invest money for a return, but do not get involved in management of the project. Some projects will return a monthly income, and some will return a profit after the exit. DealMakers will communicate with you throughout the duration of the project by issuing progress reports, financial statements and K-1 statements.  But of course you must do your own due diligence first!  We are here to connect investors with DealMakers; you must do your homework.

If you do not have a MeetMOJO account, you can browse all the projects, view the DealMaker's profile and portfolio. However, to contact the DealMaker, get involved in the project, and receive access to full project document library, you will need to create an account. If you also create an investor profile, DealMakers will be able to reach out to you and invite you to participate in projects. And of course, you will be able to take advantage of many other MeetMOJO activities, such as networking with other investors, service providers, real estate professionals, participation in discussions and even a real estate "Virtual Walk"!
