MOJO Points:

We reward the most active and highest quality users with MOJO points: you can get MOJO points for posting a thoughtful question to the discussion board, answering discussion questions (Quality matters! the highest rated answers get the most points), for inviting new users to MeetMOJO and for getting positive reviews from colleagues you have done business with. Having a lot of points is the way for you to stand out: users with the most points come up first in searches, and on match lists of other investors.

Search Projects:

Looking to invest, but not excited about managing a property? Our DealMakers post deals on MeetMOJO and put together a group of investors to invest in each deal. These are usually larger deals by size. The DealMaker will let you know if he is looking for a silent partner or a managing partner. So browse through the projects, figure out which ROI is best for you and apply for the right one. We do not endorse any particular DealMakers or deals. So please do a lot of due diligence before undertaking a financial transaction. Talk to your DealMaker, review their past projects.

Creating Investor Profile:

This is where you tell us a wee bit about yoruself. You don't need to reveal any personal details that you do not feel comfortable sharing. You can even select a screen name that is not your real name. But the more you tell us about your goals, exit strategies and experiences, the better we can match you to co-investors and service providers. And your profile is browsable by other users (unless you choose to make it private - but that's not as fun!)

Creating Service Provider Profile:

Some investors also provide services to investors. Several mortgage guys, realtors and contractors we know are also active investors. If that's you, you can also create a service provider profile. A service provider membership will cost a subscription fee in the future, but for the first 6 months, we are giving it away for free! We promise that it will be a low, flat fee that is easy-to-digest. Think of it as a cost of advertising to a very targeted audience who needs you right at this moment.

Creating DealMaker Profile:

DealMakers are experienced investors who post deals on MeetMOJO for which they are raising investment funds from a syndicate of investors. So MeetMOJO helps these DealMakers find investors in their projects. If you want to become a DealMaker, first you must completely fill out an Investor Profile. Then fill out a DealMaker profile, which will ask you for additional information about your past deals. We ask you to provide information about the last 3 deals, so that our investors can make the most educated decisions about which DealMakers and projects they want to select. Finally, post your project for everyone to view.
